FBT Swap
Solana does not behave like an EVM chain and the differences cost real money. You pay rent to open a token account, transactions expire after a short blockhash window, fees are split between a base lamport cost and a priority bid, and a Token-2022 mint can carry a transfer fee or a hook the sender never sees.
These pages cover the mechanics that actually bite. FBT Swap routes Solana swaps through public aggregators and shows the quote, the route and the fee before your wallet is asked to sign.
Solana is not an EVM chain with cheaper gas. The account model, the address format, the fee mechanism and the failure modes are all different, and habits carried over from Ethereum produce specific, repeatable confusion — transactions that vanish instead of pending, tokens that need a deposit before they can be received, and a priority fee that decides inclusion rather than speed.
The upside is that the same design makes wallets able to show exactly which balances a transaction will change before you sign it. That is better pre-signature visibility than most EVM tooling offers.

FAQ
Clear answers before you decide.
It expired before inclusion, almost always because the priority fee was below the current rate. Nothing was charged, and rebuilding with a higher fee usually works.
Receiving a new token type may require creating an associated token account, which must hold a small rent-exempt deposit. The deposit is returned when the account is closed.
Crypto assets are volatile and on-chain transactions cannot be reversed. You can lose money, including all of it. Nothing here is financial advice.
